La Carolina polo farm was started to allow a father and son to enjoy their mutual love of horses and the sport of polo.

La Carolina great polo on amazing horses shared with friends
We plan the holidays around you so that anything you need we will do our very best to arrange for you. We love horses and we love polo, so we hope together your stay will be your best polo holiday ever.
Divided between mothers, foals and playing ponies, La Carolina has approximately 130 horses from top polo bloodlines.
During the spring season in Argentina La Carolina has 35 high and medium goal ponies playing. In the low season the young horses are playing. Our horses have played at the highest level, with one of our brood mares Ebony playing in the Argentine open with Marcos Di Paola.
La Carolina is split between two locations with the Breeding farm in San Miguel del Monte and the playing farm in Pilar.
It is our base for the playing ponies during the season. Our main stables and training centre is here, we have 25 boxes, an exercise track, a round schooling pen and have started work on a horse walker. Next to the stables, is our polo field, where the chuckkers and home tournaments take place.
It is our base for breeding with 120 hectares split into open pastures ideally suited to the grazing of the young horses coming through or resting the playing horses after the season. Our Breeding program is predominately by embryo transfer using carefully selected bloodlines.
Our goal is to produce 10 to 15 quality foals each year.
